The Project

The final showcase of the Digital Society School, after ten years of impact and learning, was held in June 2026 at the Clubhouse of Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Fittingly, one of the most complex projects in its history was about DSS itself.

How can ten years of impact, collaboration, and learning be captured together with its partners, not as a booklet or a website, but as an interactive experience? And how can such an experience carry the spirit of this new way of learning to the next generation of users?

To answer this question, we first had to understand the spirit of DSS itself. We developed both a physical and a digital experience, allowing visitors to explore DSS through a virtual building tour in VR, while also becoming part of the experience by sharing what DSS has unlocked for its stakeholders in confession booth.
